Free handwriting practice sheets for adults
Print handwriting practice at a grown-up size: one page for each letter, A to Z, and each number, 0 to 9, on 0.45" lines instead of the big lines made for small children. Each page shows the letter with where to start and which way to go, then rows of it in dots to trace, then rows with one letter to start you off.

8.5" × 11", about 300 KB, no sign-up. Print the pages you want, or all of them. A small footer line says where they came from.
What is on each sheet
- The letter as a model, capital and lowercase, with a dot where each stroke starts and arrows for its direction.
- Rows of the capital and of the lowercase letter in dots, to trace.
- Rows that start with one dotted letter and leave the rest of the line to you.
- The numbers 0 to 9 after Z, one a page, set out the same way.
- Four-line guides on every row: a top line, a dashed midline, a solid baseline and a dotted line for tails. The 0.45" is the height from the top line to the baseline.
Other sizes, and cursive
For joined-up writing there are cursive practice sheets for adults on the same size lines. For children, the letter tracing worksheets use bigger 0.75" lines. To practise your own words, open Trace Press on the 0.45" lines, type them into the word box, and preview the pages in your browser. If you'd rather write on blank lines, there's free handwriting practice paper in four line sizes.
