Free shape tracing worksheets
Six printable pages, one shape each: square, triangle, rectangle, diamond, star and heart. Each page shows the shape large, with a green dot numbered for where the pencil starts and a red arrow on every side for the way it goes. Below it are rows of the same shape in dots to trace.

8.5" × 11", about 58 KB. The lines are 1" from top to bottom, the Trace Press setting for ages 4–5. Every shape reaches from the bottom line to the top line, the height of a capital letter. No sign-up. A small footer line on each page says where it came from.
How each shape is drawn

Every shape but the heart is one line without lifting the pencil, and every one but the heart is made of straight lines only, the same down, across and slanted strokes as the tracing lines worksheets. Five of the six start on the top line, as 21 of the 26 capital letters do in Trace Press; the other five (C, G, O, Q and S) start just under it, on a curve. The heart starts at its dip, halfway between the dotted middle line and the top line.
